Installation seemed to go fine, but the site is not seeing the CSS file. I looked at the source and it seems to be referring to styles.css and the file in the directory is called style.css. I made a copy of style.css and named it styles.css and this didn't seem to fix it.

Hi Damsel,

styles.css is the correct name for the combined stylesheet, and style.css is the correct name for the stylesheets in each plugin / theme. A little confusing perhaps, but it makes sense when you think about it :)

I don't think that's the problem though.

First thing to try is to enable PHP errors, and then visit http://www.youralternateuniverse.com/css/styles.css in a browser and look for any error output.

Could you do this and let us know what the error is please?

To turn errors on, you will need to do one of 2 things.

  1. Turn debug mode on temporarily by editing your config.php file.
  2. or, turn PHP errors on within Jojo. If you can't get to the domain.com/admin/options/ page normally, you will need to edit the 'php-errors' record in the 'option' database table via phpMyAdmin or similar.

Thanks,

Harvey.
