Can Jojo be configured to work without a database?

I want to use it for small, fairly static commercial sites. Jojo isn't recommended for that I know but there aren't many LGPL CMS packages around. I am quite willing to make a donation should Jojo prove to be suitable.

Hi Richard,

No Jojo needs a database to run its core functions.

You could use Jojo as the source, extract flat file versions from it after any updates and upload those to a static file server - as long as the changes are infrequent and the site not too large it's pretty straightforward to do.
Are you wanting to avoid the database for performance reasons or hosting charges?
