While she's attending a print conference for two days I figured I'd see if I could drop by and see Tom and Antony at GHWeb or maybe just see if anyone wants to grab lunch.
We'll be up there round the 27th to 29th of June.
Where are you based, Jaijaz? Is anyone else in Auckland?
I think I'll have two full days free so I'm figuring out what to do.

That'd be awesome. You're more than welcome to come hang out at any point. We have a spare desk and wifi / internet and plenty of interesting places to go for lunch!
cheers,
Antony
Hoping smellavisionlunch smells good!
I'll grab some sights at some point since I didn't get a chance on my last trip up.
They're putting us up at a very swanky hotel that's (according to Google Maps) 10 minutes walk to Gardyne Holt and 16 minutes to the Sky Tower. Last time I was up there it was a $100 cab fare to the hotel from the airport... Scary.
I'm keen to at least grab lunch with everyone that can make it.
Depending on what the desk situation and people's free time (I realise that GHWeb will be a busy workplace) is like I'm keen for a Jojo hackathon? We could
- rip through Jojo and see any parts that need tidied up (I know there are features I haven't used because I didn't realise they were there)
- polish up the administration area with Bootstrap (I think Tom mentioned looking at this a while ago, minus Bootstrap, but not sure how far he got)
- do a push towards HTML5 (not likely as it'd be better done as a complete version update)
- email Harvey and get him on Github
- work or brainstorm on ideas anyone has
- work on our own updates (I've got a wiki full of ideas)
I thought about adding a bunch of my ideas as feature requests on Github or as threads here. The idea would be to get feedback from everyone as I realise we don't all use Jojo the exact same way. But I feared that they'd look like requests that I have no plans to implement myself.

Missing the rss its hard keeping up with the forum without it. (lost it when I had to move computers a while back). Have to rely on the email updates.
You're very welcome to use a desk / internet etc any time. We currently have several desks free and a desktop if you need it. (Plus cafe across the road)
Is there a particular time you would like to catch up with everyone? Tom usually comes in on a Thursday.
cheers,
Antony
Try http://www.jojocms.org/forums/rss/ for RSS. That's the one I use.
I'm keen to come in early on Thursday as soon as I help my wife get off to her conference. But I'll work in with whatever suits you, Tom and Jai. Also providing that everyone's keen for a catchup, lunch and a hack-session if able.
Are you sure there's no issue with me (a longshot rival) setting up a workstation in the GHWeb offices for a day?

Right a bit of catching up to do...
Oh also it is barcamp/gather on Saturday week. I'll be there if anyone wants to catch up.
cheers,
Antony

No problem, I'm the only developer in the office it would be great to have someone else about if even for a short while. You're welcome Wed - Fri
cheers,
Antony
My wife has just started a contract around the corner from GH. I could come into town with her and spend the day on a hackathon.
I think putting feature requests into Github is a great idea. Even if your not about to do it in the near future it can get the ideas flowing.
I checked my wife's itinerary earlier and I'm free from 10am (maybe earlier)-4pm on Thursday and 9am-1pm on Friday and we're staying at the Heritage Hotel on Hobson St so not far to walk.
Would like longer but I'm there to support and help a 5 month pregnant Nicky get ready for two very fancy dinners and award ceremonies.
Will check out Github soon.
