I'm going to buy a few more domains and would like to run jojo on them.

Can you guys suggest any good sites to buy from where Jojo runs perfectly and they have good anti spam for emails etc?

Thanks;

Anthony

You should have no problems with most WHM/cpanel based hosts.

Dreamhost is also an amazing host in every respect (especially price) but the fact they run in CGI mode is not ideal. Their awesome control panel and systems almost make up for this though. Use promo code "HARVEYKANE" if you are feeling nice and want to give us an aff commission.

I have also hosted sites on asmallorange as well, had no problems there either.

I'm stuck for a decision really, I was thinking about 123-reg.co.uk but think I can get a better deal.

It's between streamline.net (people I usually host with), however, Jojo hasn't been running too smoothly on that thus my reason for changing, they only charge £20 p/a for good hosting.

The other is Dreamhosting at £60 p/a but you mentioning that it runs in CGI could also be the same problems I'm having with Streamline?

Another quick question to add to the above Harvey!

When installing Jojo on Dreamhost, because they use CGI mode, is there anything specific you have to do on install?

With Streamline, we had to omit a couple of lines from the .htaccess!

Yes, you do need to omit the following lines from .htaccess when using CGI mode.
php_value session.use_only_cookies 1
php_value session.use_trans_sid 0
