What's not working exactly?

The only configuration required is to set the contact email addresses on the options page. Go to domain.com/admin/options/ - select the "contacts" category from the list. Make sure that the contact address etc is filled out with the email address you want the contact form to be sent to.

By default, the webmaster address also gets a copy of all contacts from this plugin. This feature has saved us so many times when the client's copy goes missing due to spam filters or incorrect mail settings etc.

Hi Harvey,

None of the emails ever get recieved, this isn't due to spam either because I have mine disabled in order to test this.

I have selected a contact in the options but nothing to that or the webmaster address either?

Hmm, ok.

The plugin itself should be pretty reliable, but there are a few things that can trip you up.

First, check that the PHP mail() function works, as this is what Jojo uses. If there is any issue with this, then the Jojo plugin won't work. Try uploading a simple PHP script that uses the mail() function to test.
Some hosts won't let you use the mail function directly for fear of spamming, and require you to send your mail via an external SMTP server.

Next, we sometimes find issues when the email is hosted on a different server to the website. If this is the case, then the website may be sending the messages to the wrong mail server.

If it's not either of those, then I'm surprised. We find this plugin to be pretty robust, and any issues are usually DNS or spam filter related.

On the previous site to the Jojo installed one I already had PHP Mail on there so there's no problem there.

My hosting package also let me use their SMTP for outgoing mails and the incomming mail server is the same as the email address e.g.

anthony (dot) herron [at] boy wonder records (dot) com
the incoming mail server is: mail (dot) boywonderrecords.com

could there be any other reasons?
