Hi there,

Well JoJo was surprisingly easier enough to install, and I'm pretty sure I've done everything right.

However there appears to be either a path or permissions wrong somewhere.

When I try to change and update any of my settings in the admin, it just gets stuck on "Saving..."

Any tips on how to solve this?
What file does JoJo save these settings too?

Cheers

Hi Tim,

I'm going to assume that you're using firefox and have the web developers toolbar installed. If not then I recommendf you do this as it makes debuging a lot easier.

On a page that is stuck 'Saving'. On the Web Developers Toolbar go into "View Source", "View Frame Source", then the bottom one. If there are any errors then they are likely to end up in the source of this hidden iframe. If there are any error, then post the error message here and we'll have a look at it.

Hi Mike,

Installed the bar and did exactly what you said. But it looks like there was no errors that it can detect:
"<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"><html><head><title></title></head><body></body></html>"

Not very helpful is it.

I also have Firebug installed, and it spits out three errors, are these of any interest?

This is quite strange, because I can update pages just fine. Its quick too. But nothing saves in the likes of the Options section where "Saving..." just doesn't do anything.

Hi Tim,

I have found this issue recently to be related to caching of Javascript files in the admin section - a bug in the latest alpha release.

Try pressing CTRL-F5 on this page and seeing if that fixes it.

Harvey.

Thanks for that, works perfectly again.

Cheers, look forward to future releases.
