I have completed the installation. Where But I am seeing only text based pages, even in the admin section.

Could be a few things, try these...
Check that the rewritebase value is set properly in .htaccess - if the site is running in the root of the domain it should be "/" otherwise "/subfoldername/"
Run setup again by visiting www.domain.com/setup/
Make sure the theme you have installed actually exists.
Make sure the _SITEURL variable is correct in config.php
Press CTRL-F5 (Firefox) or SHIFT-Refresh (Safari) on the homepage / admin page.
