Is there a plugin for managing files to provide an easy way of adding downloads to a jojo site?

If you use the wysiwyg editor option (instead of BBCode), then yes. The Extended File Manager plugin for Xinha handles uploads of images and files.

The uploading is separate to the actual linking, so you can use the Xinha editor on Edit Page to upload as many images or files as you like to the downloads/images or downloads/files folders. You can then either link to them directly using the editor, or indirectly in templates.

File size upload limits in Xinha are set in options (I think 2MB for images, 5MB for files is the default) - although both are subject to the ultimate limit set in php.ini by your server.

Once image files are uploaded they can also be resized using Xinha's resizing system, or by adjusting the link, use Jojo's resizing: eg - images/w150/images/something.jpg

The Xinha uploader only uploads single files at a time however, so for mass uploads you are still better off with FTPing them in directly (if this is an option).

We have looked at various options for mass uploads as a part of the Jojo admin, but haven't found anything satisfactory/stable enough yet.
