Hi Folks
I’m just doing the read and watch video tutorial bit before trying to use JOJO. I’m no expert on servers, but I noticed when I run the phpinfo script on the domain I want to use... that: mod_rewrite does NOT appear in the list.
E.g.
Loaded Modules
mod_php5, mod_ssl, mod_setenvif, mod_so, mod_frontpage, mod_headers, mod_expires, mod_proxy, mod_auth, mod_access, mod_alias, mod_userdir, mod_cgi, mod_dir, mod_autoindex, mod_include, mod_info, mod_negotiation, mod_mime, mod_log_referer, mod_log_agent, mod_log_config, mod_env, mod_vhost_alias, http_core
However, when I look at the httpd.conf file on the server it includes this:
#VSD Dynamic Shared Object extensions
#LoadModule rewrite_module /usr/lib/apache/mod_rewrite.so
Do you guys know if that means all is ok, or do I need to contact my host and ask them to install: mod_rewrite
Thanks
Dave
