why is it when i install gallery3 suddenly the default test article came back?
and when i uninstall gallery3, i still have create gallery menu?

the uninstall file for the gallery plugin doesn't remove pages. it ought to, and I'll look at adding that.

the test article - not sure - did you run setup? - i suspect that if the articles plugin finds an empty articles table at setup, it adds the test article
