Seperate RSS Feeds for Article Categories

Is there any plan for seperating out the articles from different categories into seperate RSS feeds?

I started to do it last night but just realised it might be in the works already.

i added the categories stuff, but am not all that familiar with rss so left that bit alone.

the site i needed categories for at the time only needed a collated rss feed in any case so i didn't take it any further, but it would definitely be handy - although i'd like a collated rss link for all articles to remain as well if that's possible.

i have been fiddling with other bits of the articles plugin tho, so make sure you've got an updated copy.

something similar with rss would be good for galleries too i think - i've added categories to the gallery3 plugin, so hopefully whatever you do for articles will be translatable to galleries also

I finished this the other day and just came on to upload it when I realised I should check to see if I'm allowed to contribute to projects such as these as I'm employed and working on an in-house cms.

I think we would be happy to give you write access to our SVN server, we get email notifications of all changes, so we can check over any commits that are made.

OK, thanks anyway. I can't exacly see how it's a conflict of interest when there isn't any money involved, but I understand employers can get funny about these sorts of things.

My current contract went through a number of revisions to avoid issues like that before I would sign it. It's a tricky one for employers trying to protect their work and employees wanting to give away what they create.

Pity you can't contribute, thanks for checking first so we don't have any ownership issues later.
