Agreed. I made a start to one last year based on the Google Calendar API. But the client put the job on hold, so it's still not developed.

Definitely on our list though.

If you want to continue with this, I would be happy to pay you for your time in developing it. I have a couple upcoming clients who really want a calendar integrated on their site.
