The alpha 3 release includes mostly bug fixes and minor usability tweaks, as we continue towards making Jojo a fast, usable and stable platform for creating websites. In the Alpha 3 release we have switched to using jQuery instead of Prototype for most of the javascript in the admin area - we are impressed with the small footprint of jquery, the way that a small amount of code can solve a lot of problems, and that it makes adding unobtrusive javascript easier, in line with good web design practice.
If you haven't already checked out jQuery, it's worth doing.
We welcome feedback on the Alpha3 release, and recommend all Jojo users make the upgrade as it is considerably more stable than previous releases. Download.
